OMG! Their new album is going to be even better than Lungs, I bet.

@ the rest of you. Wow, I didn't really think about the distraction angle overmuch but that's a good point. I think I am very lyrics oriented but I've been told that's not usual.

@ F.E. Also, like Miho and Crystal, (Hi Crystal!) I'm totally distractable! I can't get in the zone while I'm writing if there's music in the background. However, when I'm away from my writing, I get songs in my head that remind me of my characters. Ex: Dog Days Are Over by Florence + the MachineF.E. I love, love, love Florence & The Machine, right along with you.

I won't share my soundtracks until I have a publishing contract. I know it sounds weird, but I'm kind of weird that way.

However, the last 4 songs I listened toIsis Rushdanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06773053495985834484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4871991104542065373.post-19673746477677458332011-09-01T07:15:08.948-07:002011-09-01T07:15:08.948-07:00I generally have the classical music station going...I generally have the classical music station going while I write because the music is mostly instrumental, hence less distraction. Problem is, I like to have some background noise, but I find when I listen to other stuff, especially stuff I really, really like, I'm too busy singing along to get any writing done! Apparently I am still that distractible... ;-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4871991104542065373.post-79045502231836098252011-08-31T19:36:58.559-07:002011-08-31T19:36:58.559-07:00Hi! I followed you over from the campaign. I wish ...Hi! I followed you over from the campaign. I wish I had a novel soundtrack, but I prefer not to write to music. It's too distracting =P I need only the sound of my thoughts, namely because I am that easily distracted and pulled off course lol.Miho Lihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06252611289037745469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4871991104542065373.post-50168520231534642412011-08-31T13:31:02.550-07:002011-08-31T13:31:02.550-07:00I haven't come up with one for my current WiP....I haven't come up with one for my current WiP.
